Alibaba Cloud adheres to Code

Our umbrella organization SRIW joined the GAIA-X working group and commented on the recent publications of GAIA-X. Our take-aways: GAIA-X needs to be easily accessible, especially to SMEs, and integrate existing standards and requirements to the extent possible [Read more].
GDPR report by Commission
Following a public consultation, the European Commission published a report on the two-year application of GDPR. We are happy to see many of our comments addressed in the report, such as the relevance of Codes of Conduct, also for third country transfers of personal data. We also look forward to assessing the Commission's work on Standard Data Protection Clauses pursuant to Article 46 GDPR, as mentioned in the report [Read our comments to the public consultation here and the Commission's report here].
