Door-to-door sales continue to play an important role in advising consumers on telecommunications services and supporting the rollout of modern fibre networks. The Door-to-Door Code of Conduct ensures that these interactions are carried out in accordance with uniform quality standards, providing transparent information, clear identification of sales representatives and effective complaint handling procedures. The independent adherence assessment conducted by SCOPE Europe confirms that EWE TEL continues to meet the organisational and operational requirements set out in the Code.
Commenting on the renewed confirmation of adherence, Jannik Weinkauf, Sales Channel Management - Private and Commercial Customers Division at EWE TEL, said:
Especially when introducing modern telecommunications infrastructure, clear and trustworthy customer advice is essential. The renewed conformity assessment demonstrates our commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and transparent sales practices in every personal customer interaction. In doing so, we aim to further strengthen consumer confidence in door-to-door sales.
Gabriela Mercuri, Managing Director of SCOPE Europe, added:
The renewed confirmation of adherence demonstrates that EWE TEL continues to implement the requirements of the Door-to-Door Code of Conduct in practice. Consistent quality standards and transparent customer advice are key to strengthening consumer confidence in door-to-door sales.
The confirmation of adherence will remain publicly available for one year in the Public Register of the Door-to-Door Code of Conduct.
